So lets start at the begining. I worked at Studio8 Design. In 2009 I left to launch Eureka, the monthly science magazine published by The Times. While at The Times I didn’t meet Rupert but I did art direct their coverage of the London Olympic Games.
In 2014 I re-designed The Sunday Times magazine becoming Art Director of the Year at the British Society of Magazine Editors twelve months later. But got bored as it was better 70 years ago, so I left to set up a creative agency.
Combing my thirteen years experience as a designer (other wanky titles not included) and seven years working day to day with journalists (they are alright you know) and three years running my own thing (learning the business stuff), I now help brands creatively communciate with who they need to.
Working with people such as A+E Networks, CNN, New Balance, Getty Images, The Economist, Reuters & Wallpaper*. During lock-down, BLM movement and the US election I worked for The New York Times Magazine from London.
My work has been recognised by D&AD, Society of News Design, Type Directors Club, Society of Publication Designers, The British Press Awards and The British Society of Magazine Editors. Which is cool to say, but who really cares?
I never post stuff on social media (but think I probably should). But I will have a new site soon. In the meanwhile if you are one of the six people that will look at this and one of the two people that reads to the bottom...
